Every toy should be categorized and should have a home. This makes clean up quicker and much easier. Most days, a child can clean own room daily. If children know where to put things, they are more likely to start teaching them to put away one set of toys before getting out another.

Tips
Go through toys periodically and remove the ones, which are not being used any longer and just lying in the storage. You might also want to rotate some toys. That is when you put them away for some time says one or two months, some of the toys and get them out, that is rotate to seem like new toys for them after that.
