Due to this children can see different types of insects, butterflies, birds and animals frequenting their backyards. Hence, they can learn the characteristics of these animals by actually observing them rather than just read about them in drab books. This makes them learn some very important factors about natural and environmental science.

This makes it clear that the importance of backyard laboratories is immense, especially in homes where there are small children. This would make the children learn some important lessons in life with a smile on their faces.
