Cement Curbing Machine:
Cement curbing machines: Cement curbing machine are used to produces a curb that meets certain set specifications. Most of the machines are custom made by companies to facilitate the process of curbing and make them more compact and durable. The basic curbing machines include the cement mixer. Cement is mixed in a drum to create a uniform mix. Sometimes paddles are affixed to the traditional mixer to create a perfect blend. Almost all curb machines use low slump concrete for consolidation. Cement curbing machines produce a constant flow of cement, enough to finish any ongoing project at one go. Some of the machines produce curbing at the rate of 12 to 15 feet per minute by using a steel augur. Some machines are electrically powered meaning that the cement is carried and fed into the machine. These electrically driven machines then extrude the cement in a continuous border. Many forms are attached to the machine to facilitate unique design styles. The basic idea behind any concrete machine is the same. Usually cement is fed to the machine and then pushed to the attached form. Cement curb then comes out in the perfect height and shape desired. Advantages Machines have replaced the labour intensive and time consuming process of curbing. Most machines are designed to create as little mess as possible; there are several machine models, available in the market, which have many different forms. Thus, a single machine can create as many as five hundred to twelve hundred designs and patterns. The numbers of workers are reduced and the cost thus decreases. These compact machines have also replaced heavy cement equipments. They produce little or no damage to the property. Most of the parts are replicable and repairable therefore the durability is more and maintenance required is less. Disadvantages: The disadvantages are related to poor quality machines. They can be noisy and can cause some amount of pollution. Some of the smaller machines are not suitable for larger projects. With new research and improved technology, efforts are underway to combat these problems. The profiles of machine manufacturers can be viewed to choose the perfect concrete machine for your business.
